Shipping policy
Our orders are processed as expediently as we can and shipped in the order they were received.
Our shippingΒ work daysΒ are Monday - Thursday only. This gives orders the optimal time to reach their destination before Sunday.Β
Please note: We do the best we can to fulfill and ship orders in a timely manner. Due to the perishable nature of our products we may require that your order be held and shipped on a weekday that will allow for the shortest transit time by the carrier selected. We do not guarantee an exact arrival date or time for your order!Β Β
- US Priority Mail: Orders that come in beforeΒ noon (PST)Β Wednesday ship the same week. Orders to that come in after noon (PST) on Wednesdays may not ship until the following Monday, depending on their destination and shipping method. If we estimate that the order will not reach its destination before the upcoming Sunday, we may hold the order and ship it on our next shipping work day.Β Β Β
- FedEx2Day Shipping: We process FedEx2day orders on Monday-Wednesday only.Β We will ship FedEx orders that are as having an arrival date before the upcoming Sunday, as quoted by the carrier.
- FedEx Standard Overnight:Β We process and ship FedEx Overnight orders Monday - Thursday only, to arrive within the week. (Weekend delivery is not offered for Overnight orders)
We are closed and do not ship on many federal holidays.Β You may review our website for holiday hours and shipping deadlines, or call us with any questions on estimatedΒ shipping and arrival date.Β
We ship to street addresses only.Β We are not able to ship to P.O. boxes.Β Due to the perishable nature of our products,Β it is best to have your order delivered door to door and not held at a PO Box. Please provide a complete address for your shipment.Β Depending on the address to which an order is shipped, the carrier may leave the package at mail box, a doorstep, or a receiving area; or they may leave a notice if no one is available to accept the package.Β
Please check all shipping addresses carefully. We guarantee delivery only to the address we are given. Delivery services will not forward.
Mariposa is not responsible for damage or loss as a result of incorrect or incomplete address information provided; or for the inability of a recipient to receive the package. Mariposa is also not responsible for damage or loss due to improper receiving, storage or handling after delivery.
What are your shipping rates?
Mariposa ships orders via FedEx or United States Postal services. Our shipping rates are weight-based for each region of the United States. This is the fairest way we know of calculating shipping. Shipping rates are dynamically calculated based on the weight of the products in your shopping cart, box dimensions and/or value. Your shippingΒ options with our carriers or any Mariposa Flat Rate promotionΒ will be visibleΒ upon checkout, after you have entered your shipping zip code.Β Β

My order didn't arrive - what is your policy on reshipments?
We may provide refunds for packages that do not make it to their destination as a transit failure by the carrier, but not for the inability of a recipient to receive or store the package upon delivery.
We are no longer able to reship packages if the first package isn't received due to shipping problems with the carrier or address that are out of our control. If you are not able to receive your shipment due to the carrier not being able to service your address, we will no longer be able to ship to you. We will be putting a hold on shipments toΒ addresses that we know are problematic and that aren't able to receive shipments in a timely way.Β Β
