Sandwich Batard

My go to bread ! I freeze it. I put it into my air fryer to toast, directly from the freezer. Never disappoints!

After trying every store bought version of GF bread for ridiculous prices I finally found Mariposa. No comparison. Mariposa has THE best GF bread. Another reviewer complained about the tiny end pieces on the batard. I use them toasted for dunking into soup or bean dishes and sometimes just a bite of buttered toast. Sometimes a wooden utensil has to help with juggling them out of the toaster. Or unplug the toaster and do it 100% safely.

After growing up loving bread, finding it made me sick was a blow. This is the first bread I can honestly say satisfies my taste buds!

The bread is great , plain or toasted, and very tasty with applesauce. Texture is great too.

You know how I know? It’s when I feed this bread to gluten eaters and they love it - THAT’S how I know this bread is universally so delicious!! And it sits well in my very sensitive stomach. I keep my frozen and toast it or pan fry it - great for grilled cheese! I even ir the tiny end pieces - it’s just that good! This has become a staple in my life and I’ve even ordered it for delivery a couple times and it came in perfect condition. It’s a must-have!

I think this is the best gluten free bread on the market....

Toasted in a cast iron skillet is the absolute best best best.
Bring back the almond croissants and the bear claws to ship please!

I have found it impossible to find a gf bread that checks all the boxes for texture, taste and aftertaste, crumb and crust, and the mouth watering goodness of that smell. I still wish it didn’t have to be toasted, but that’s OK. It’s delicious.

Have it everyday.....never loses it's luster. Toasted Batard and Strauss butter......Heaven.

No other bread compares! I live out of state and am 8.5 months pregnant. No other bread would satisfy this very pregnant momma to be’s cravings! Best Gluten Free bread I’ve ever had!

This bread toasted is the best gluten free bread for sandwiches I have found. It tastes good and holds up to even tuna salad.

Just like the sandwich bread, this version has a nice heft and texture and is much better than the national brands which are barely there. Great for cold or toasted sandwiches, like grilled cheese and monte cristo's, not to mention French toast.

The teeny, tiny negative? Since the loaf is shaped like an American football, the slices at each end are too small to use for a sandwich, but certainly can be used if you are making hors d’oeuvres for a party.
