Our soft Sandwich Batard is an alternative to our Sandwich Bread. This loaf is a classic for dinner parties, great for sandwiches or just toasted with butter.

GFF Magazine says our batard is "chewy and fluffy with buttery flavor...perfect for sandwiches or sopping up sauce or soup".

Please Note: Bread should be toasted to serve.  Will not taste as good without toasting.

Good texture; great smell

I have found it impossible to find a gf bread that checks all the boxes for texture, taste and aftertaste, crumb and crust, and the mouth watering goodness of that smell. I still wish it didn’t have to be toasted, but that’s OK. It’s delicious.

Out of state order

No other bread compares! I live out of state and am 8.5 months pregnant. No other bread would satisfy this very pregnant momma to be’s cravings! Best Gluten Free bread I’ve ever had!

Best bread for a sandwich

This bread toasted is the best gluten free bread for sandwiches I have found. It tastes good and holds up to even tuna salad.

Only one teeny, tiny negative

Just like the sandwich bread, this version has a nice heft and texture and is much better than the national brands which are barely there. Great for cold or toasted sandwiches, like grilled cheese and monte cristo's, not to mention French toast.

The teeny, tiny negative? Since the loaf is shaped like an American football, the slices at each end are too small to use for a sandwich, but certainly can be used if you are making hors d’oeuvres for a party.
