Sandwich Bread

It’s the best… when you’re looking for gluten-free egg, free bread, most of the time it’s frozen and has no flavor or texture. That’s not the case with their sandwich bread. It’s delicious.

When I can eat eggs again I am looking forward to making French toast with these little guys. Good crust, softer toasted bread. I toast each twice on a 3 or 4 setting on my toaster. Freeze setting works well too.

A GF bread that actually tastes like bread. Especially good as toast; delicious on its own and also as base for sandwiches. So glad to find this after years of eating other “breads”. Also, its uniform size makes it useful the whole loaf. I don’t know how they do it. I’m also a fan of the sandwich batard and the rye, but I think this might be my favorite.

This is the best gluten free bread out there. I’m very thankful for being able to order online and have it delivered.. Odering is easy and delivery is fast.

This hasn't really been good for sandwiches, it's very dense and heavy. However, it has a nice rye flavor that I've missed and makes excellent rye toast substitute.

Perfect for any type of sandwich, just needs a light toasting to get the excellent flavors out.

I like the size of the bread since I don’t like having any leftover. In my opinion, all gluten free bread items taste and hold up best when they are toasted.

I love the texture and taste of this bread. When I receive it, I put it in the freezer. When ready to use I pop it in the toaster and it comes out perfect…not dry but moist and slightly chewy. Great with olive oil on top or butter, tahini, almond butter or jam.

I want to start off by saying Mariposa always has the best gluten free dairy free sandwhich bread, bar none. However this new and improved formulation is not doing it for me. It is dryer and more flavorless. The slices seem smaller as well but unsure. Bring back the old recipe!

Delicious bread. My family members and friends can’t believe it’s GF, DF and vegan . It’s a staple in my house, even for the non celiac.

Diagnosed with celiac in 1951, yah I’m old. I have tried more gf bread than I care to remember . This is the best, tasty and crisp when toasted. I am going to now have to buy bird seed.

It molded after two days of receipt. I don't think I received a fresh loaf. First time any product I have ordered went bad.

This is the closest I’ve found to a sourdough bread. Being celiac- I have not found another GF bread even close. I don’t bother eating anything else.

We prefer toast to sandwiches, but this bread is great!

The gluten free sandwich bread makes wonderful toast - crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside.

This bread is such a treat. I purchased to have in the house over the holidays as my daughter who is also gluten free was home. We really enjoyed it!

Mariposa’s Sandwich Bread is the best bread I’ve eaten. That it’s gluten free is a bonus for me, and a surprise to my non-GF family who have tried it. Toasting not only brings out the flavor, but it lets the nooks and crannies be the star of the show. It’s like an English Muffin, only better!!

A little dense, but it’s hard to make GF bread that is light AND tastes good. It’s great when toasted or baked and it’s still my favorite sandwich bread.

It’s a staple in our home now the flavor and convenience to have my bread delivered to my door, I freeze it, put it in the toaster and is ready to go. The guest gluten free I ever tasted

I buy this 2 loaves at a time and pull out what I need. This bread is delicious, toasts well and makes a great sandwich. Many gf options can be grim or dry but this is the real deal.

Not tasty and very small in size

As far as I can tell, the main difference between this and the sandwich batard is that I can use these slices all the way to the end while the batard gets smaller on both sides. The bread has a nice heft and texture. Not like some of the national GF brands that would float away if you don't hold them down.

In addition to sandwiches, I use this product for French toast and cinnamon bread (butter one side, sprinkle with a mixture of cinnamon and sugar, then broil until the top is crunchy.
